In short
Snake Survival can be played without creating an account. Since version 2.2.0, the game shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner during games, videos you choose to watch in exchange for a reward and, from time to time, a full-screen ad. The game does not sell any personal data, and your progress stays on your phone.
Data stored on your device
The data the game needs is saved locally:
- scores, records, stars and completed challenges;
- coins, gems, survival lives and unlocked skins;
- your profile: nickname and age;
- control, sound, music, vibration and graphics settings.
Your age never leaves your phone. This data is not sent to SUNDER DEV and is deleted when you uninstall Snake Survival or clear its data. When version 2 is installed, the game carries over the progress from the previous version saved on the same phone.
Connection to the game’s online service
For online duels, VIP codes and remote settings, Snake Survival uses Unity Gaming Services. An anonymous sign-in creates a random identifier, with no name or email address. Remote settings are used only to adjust the game’s balance without an update; downloading them does not transmit any personal data.
Online duels
During an online duel, your nickname followed by four digits (for example “Ahmed#4821”), your skin and the moves of the game are sent to your opponent through Unity’s servers. Your nickname is therefore visible to other players: do not use your full name or any personal information in it. Nicknames containing inappropriate words are rejected.
Game Center and Google Play Games
If you are signed in to Game Center (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android), the game links that account to your Unity identifier, so you can recover your player identity on another phone. Your Game Center or Play Games player name may be suggested as your nickname; you are free to choose a different one. These services are provided by Apple and Google and are governed by their own terms.
VIP codes
If you enter a VIP code, the game records with Unity the code number and an encrypted fingerprint of your device, so that a given code can only be used on one phone. This fingerprint cannot be used to identify you.
In-app purchases
Snake Survival offers an optional purchase of survival lives. Apple or Google processes the payment. RevenueCat is used to display the product, validate the purchase, prevent fraud and give you what you bought. In this context, your purchase history and a random anonymous identifier are processed. Snake Survival does not ask for your name or email address.
Ads
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To display them, measure their effectiveness and fight fraud, Google may process the device’s advertising identifier, the IP address (and therefore an approximate location), the device model and language, and your interactions with the ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game shows Google’s consent form on first launch: you can accept personalized ads or refuse them, in which case the ads remain non-personalized. You can change this choice at any time in Settings › Account › Ad privacy. On iPhone, the game may ask for Apple’s tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency), at most once: if you refuse, Apple’s advertising identifier is used by neither Google nor Meta, and you can change this choice in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete the advertising identifier in your phone’s settings. Data processed by Google is governed by Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and its rules on how partners use data (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
Meta ad measurement
Snake Survival advertises on Facebook and Instagram. To find out which ads help people discover the game, it includes the software development kit of Meta Platforms Ireland. It only starts if you are at least 16 years old (the age in your profile) and, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, only if you accepted, in the consent form, the storage of information on the device and the measurement of ad performance. It then sends Meta: the installation and opening of the game, completed games and levels reached, in-app purchases, revenue from the ads shown, as well as the device’s advertising identifier (on iPhone, only if you allowed tracking), the device model, language and system version, and the IP address. Meta uses this to measure and improve our campaigns; this data does not include your nickname, your age or your name. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the “Ad privacy” button in Settings. This data is governed by Meta’s privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy).
Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
To understand how the game is used and improve it, Snake Survival uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google. It measures: installation, app opens and play time, screens viewed and buttons tapped, how games go (modes, scores, duration, levels reached, how games end), in-app purchases, in-game currency earned and spent, ads viewed, chosen settings and game errors. Google also receives a random installation identifier, the device model, language and system version, and the IP address, from which it only derives an approximate location (country, city) without keeping it. This data does not include your nickname, your age or your name. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, until you answer the consent form, or if you refuse, Google Analytics only receives signals without any identifier or cookie, which cannot be used to recognize you; full measurement only starts if you accept the storage of information on the device, and advertising data is only used if you accepted the advertising purposes. Under 13 (the age in your profile), no advertising data is used. You can change this choice at any time in the game’s Settings. The data is kept for 14 months, then deleted. It is governed by Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Service providers
Processing carried out by Apple (App Store, Game Center), Google (Google Play, Play Games, AdMob, Google Analytics), Meta, RevenueCat and Unity is also governed by their own privacy policies.
Permissions
The game uses the device’s sound and vibration, and an internet connection for purchases, online duels and VIP codes. Everything else can be played offline. Snake Survival does not request access to the microphone, contacts, photos, location or notifications.
Children
Snake Survival does not require an account and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The age requested on first launch stays on the phone. In-app purchases remain subject to the settings and authorization of the Apple or Google account used on the device.
Your rights and contacting us
The app is operated by Ahmed Sanoko, SUNDER DEV. For any privacy question or to exercise an applicable right, write to contact@sunderdev.com.
Delete your data
Data saved on your device is deleted when you uninstall Snake Survival. To also delete the associated anonymous identifier at Unity, its link with Game Center or Google Play Games, and any registered VIP code, write to contact@sunderdev.com with your player ID (nickname and four digits, shown in your profile). Deletion is carried out within 30 days and a confirmation is sent to you. Purchase history is kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat in accordance with their legal obligations.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if Snake Survival’s features or service providers change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
